1. Navigate to the Activation Menu
From the OnePlatform homepage, in the left-hand menu, open Activation and click on Create Segment.
2. Complete the Setup Tab
You’ll land on the Setup tab, where you can define your segment details. Start by choosing your Activation Type:
ID-Precise – Pinpoint ideal audiences based on behaviour and demographics.
Geo-Contextual – Reach audiences in specific areas and drive footfall.
Then continue filling in the remaining fields:
Segment Name – Choose a clear, descriptive name for your segment.
Country – Select the country where your campaign will run.
Advertiser – Pick the advertiser account associated with the segment.
Destination Partner(s) – Use the dropdown to select your destination partner(s).
Only destination partners already integrated with your account will appear.
Selecting a partner helps filter the data catalogue to show only supported datasets.
3. Build Your Segment
In the Segment Builder tab, you’ll set up your segment using datasets and modelling options.
Add Datasets:
Browse the Data Catalogue on the left, or use the search box.
Add datasets to the Modeller on the right by dragging, clicking the +, or selecting directly.
Tip: You can group and combine datasets with AND (intersection of conditions) or OR (broader audience reach). This allows precise targeting or expanded coverage depending on your campaign goals.
AI Segment Generator (Optional, Beta):
At the bottom of the page, you can input a description of your audience, and the AI will suggest datasets and a model.
6. Review the Segment Summary
On the right side, you’ll see a Summary panel displaying details:
Segment name and description
Estimated active IDs by destination
Segment price
7. Activate or Save Your Segment
Once your segment setup and modelling are complete:
Click Activate to trigger activation on your selected DSP(s).
Or, click Save to store your segment as a draft.
8. Monitor Activation Progress
You can track your activated segment’s progress under the Segment Details page.
Here, you’ll see its activation status and delivery updates for each destination.
