This article explains how long it usually takes for ID‑Precise segments activated with Adsquare to become visible and usable in your demand‑side platform (DSP).
1. High‑level summary
When you activate an ID‑Precise segment from Adsquare to a DSP, there are two main phases:
Segment appears in the DSP UI
The segment is created on the DSP side and becomes searchable/selectable in the audience interface.Segment is populated with IDs (users)
Adsquare sends the Mobile Advertising IDs (MAIDs) to the DSP. The DSP ingests and matches these IDs to build the audience.
What you should plan for:
For most DSPs
Segment appears in the DSP: within minutes up to 24 hours
Segment is populated and ready to use: within 24–48 hours after first visibility
For Google
Full ingestion: up to 7 days
Reach metrics in reporting to fully stabilise: up to 30 days
If your segment is not visible after 48 hours (for non‑Google segments), or it is still empty 72 hours after it became visible (or >7 days in DV360), please reach out to your Adsquare contact or open a Support Ticket.
5. Troubleshooting & when to contact support
Use the checks below if something doesn’t look right:
Segment not visible in the DSP
Most DSPs:
If the segment is not visible after 24–48 hours:
Confirm you are checking under adsquare as data provider.
Make sure you search by the exact segment name from adsquare.
If still not visible, contact your adsquare representative or open a Support Ticket.
Google DV360:
Ensure that:
Your DV360 account is enabled for third‑party data.
adsquare is enabled as a third‑party data provider.
If still not visible, contact your adsquare representative or open a Support Ticket.
Segment visible but with 0 users
For most DSPs:
If the segment is visible but still shows 0 users after 48–72 hours:
Confirm that you have selected the correct segment.
Contact adsquare Support to check the activation and the DMP integration.
For Google DV360:
It can take up to 7 days to ingest IDs.
If the segment is still not populated after 7 days: Raise a Google support ticket and copy your Google and adsquare Account Managers.
Audience size looks smaller than expected
This can happen for several reasons:
The DSP only accepts IDs that are known to that platform.
Users who have opted out of tracking are not ingested.
Additional filters or policies on the DSP side (e.g. geo, frequency, recency, brand‑safety) can further reduce the active audience.
If the difference looks unusually high, contact your adsquare representative for support.
