According to the article 9 of GDPR “Processing of special categories of personal data”, the following personal data is considered ‘sensitive’ by the European Commission and is subject to specific processing conditions:

  • personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs

  • trade-union membership

  • genetic data, biometric data processed solely to identify a human being

  • health-related data

    • Blood bank, chiropractor, diabetes clinics, dentist-dental offices, family-general practice physicians

    • Hospitals, hospital emergency rooms, healthcare facilities, medical services-clinics, nursing home, pharmacies

    • Psychiatric institutes, therapists

  • data concerning a person’s sex life or sexual orientation

In order to respect users' privacy, Adsquare has decided to apply this policy globally. An in-house detection system will automatically apply a “Sensitive information” flag preventing the usage of these datasets.
