Inventory Lists
A user can upload an inventory list as a csv or an excel file. However, there are certain requirements to be followed when uploading your own inventory lists:
The file name should not contain special characters
The file must include the following columns: “latitude” and “longitude” (placement of the columns is not important) in the case of coordinates; or a “wkt” column defining a geometry in Well Known Text format.
Check for special characters - files can’t contain any special characters on file content. Some examples below:
~ ` ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) + = { } [ ] |\ / : ; " ' < >, . ? § °
The file can include optional further columns (e.g. internal IDs, type of OOH inventory, City Name…), where every column with less than 150 different values will automatically be considered as a field that can be used to filter out your data on the tool. There is no limit on the amount of fields to be included.
Currency figures can be uploaded by providing a column that should be named - CurrencyreachX (X being the period to which the currency should be applied to). Values on this column needs to be provided as integers.
For CSV files explicitly:
Please confirm that the file has been saved as comma separated values
To avoid any errors when uploading, we recommend to mark all columns except for latitude/longitude and set the data format to “text”
The country selected needs to be the same country in which the posters are located.
Please note that our tool can only score up to 250k locations simultaneously, uploading a list that exceeds this minimum threshold can negatively affect the performance.
Enabling Audience Capturing
Audience capturing is the process that allows Adsquare to tell what number of users have been seen on the provided locations in order to be able to model audiences with these results and score the assets respectively.
Once the users has uploaded a new inventory list, they will be prompted to enable audience capturing for this new list.
This process can take up to 24 hours to be completed, please plan accordingly. The user will see a notification on the AMP which will specify once the upload has been finished.
Each country can have up to 5 enabled audiences capture at the same time only. The tool will not let the user enable any other capturing if the threshold has been reached.
If the data capture is set to enabled on an inventory list, the update is automatically happening on a continuous basis (weekly) - there is no need to disable/enable the capturing again.
Exporting the results
The results can be exported as csv or excel files or as a more visual representation through a map.
The export of the data once the capturing has been finished, will reflect the same columns uploaded on your inventory list, exactly in the same order - augmented by KPIs for scoring (total users seen, users seen in the target group, ratio, index and the deduplicated number of users seen).
The full results will be available only once the audience capturing has been completed.
