Visits Trend
Situation
“The visits pulled from the reports show an unlikely trend.”
Suggestion
Adform receives data from Adsquare containing a timestamp for the transaction and also another timestamp sent as the variable SV1, which is the actual time of the visit.
By default, the reports are based on when Adform receives a visit and not the timestamp of the visit. The client should build reports based on the visit timestamps sent through the custom variable SV1.
No Attributed Visits
Situation
“I do not receive attributed visits.”
Suggestion
Make sure the Tracking Point Name does not contain any special characters, such as “&”. The tracking point name is used in the tracking link and this can cause encoding issues.
Adsquare recommends the following nomenclature: “Client_Campaign_MMYYYY”.
