In order to provide more visibility about the status of your segment, we have added a Status section on the segment page.

Description

Each step provides a similar set of information:

  • Status with color coding

  • Date of last status change

  • Additional information in the tooltip (on hover)

  • Moreover, the label NEW means the step has already run and it is a refresh/update.

Color Coding & Status Details

Audience Targeting

The transfer process for audience segments contains mandatory and optional steps depending on the segment setup:

  • CALCULATING >> Calculating the segment's size based on combination(s) provided in the segment

  • LOOKALIKE >> Optional, enabling the lookalike algorithm

  • PREPARING >> Preparing the segment's file to be transferred

  • TRANSFERRING >> Physical transfer of the prepared data to the selected DSP(s)

  • AVAILABLE >> Confirmation that the data has been delivered to the DSP and is available.

Proximity Targeting

Pipeline for proximity segments contains the following steps:

  • PREPARING >> Scheduled preparation of the segment based on the combination provided in the segment; executed every hour.

  • CALCULATING >> Scheduled process of the creation based on the previous calculation; executed for each DSP every hour.

  • TRANSFERRING >> Physical transfer of the prepared data to the selected DSP

  • AVAILABLE >> Confirmation that the data has been delivered to the DSP and is available.

While small delays should not be concerning, attention is required if a step is delayed for over 2 hours.

If the status shows available but the segment cannot be found on the DSP, we advise you to contact the support team of the respective DSP support as a first step to verify there is no blockers on their end.

In case our support is required to solve the issue, do not hesitate to raise a ticket on our Service Desk here.
