Why are my datasets flagged as ‘Dataset not updated for more than 2 months’?

Adsquare prioritizes high-quality, recent data. If a dataset has not received an update within the last 60 days, the system automatically applies a "stale" flag. After 3 months, Adsquare’s TTL (Time to Live) feature will empty the dataset from any IDs.

Why is it important?

  • Data Accuracy: Older data often leads to decreased campaign performance and lower reach.

  • Advertiser Confidence: Many buyers filter out datasets that are not frequently updated to ensure they are targeting active audiences.

How to resolve it:

  1. Refresh your data: Upload a new file to your S3 bucket or push an update via API.

  2. Automatic update: Once the system detects the new ingestion, the flag will be removed automatically (typically within 24 hours).

  3. Check your automation: If you have automated uploads, verify that your data pipeline is functioning correctly and files are reaching the "inbound" folder.

Tip: To maintain optimal visibility and performance in OnePlatform, we recommend refreshing your datasets at least once every 30 days.
